History of Grayson Wagner

Grayson Wagner is a firm of Consultant Chemists conveniently situated in the industrial area of Penrose, Auckland.

In 1976 Bill Grayson, the owner and director of Grayson Wagner, formed W. Grayson & Associates which provided technical services on a consultancy basis.

In 1985 they took over T J Sprott & Associates. By 1995 W. Grayson & Associates was the largest analytical laboratory in New Zealand, providing services in chemistry, microbiology, food safety, quality systems, laboratory management, failure analysis, timber treatment and product development.

In 1996 the company was sold to the largest laboratory group in Australia; Bill stayed on as Managing Director until 1997 and remained on the Board until 1998.

In 2001, the need for a multifaceted chemical consultant company presented itself to Bill and his business partner Conrad Wagner. As a result Grayson Wagner Co. Ltd was formed on the basis of their combined depth of knowledge and understanding of industry in Aotearoa.

Since 2001 Grayson Wagner Co. Ltd has continued to provide services in four main operating fields: Materials Science, Product Development, Product Testing, and Regulatory Approval.
